Offline marketing tracking for yard signs, wraps and mailers

A tracking number on every yard sign, truck wrap and mailer, so you know which one made the phone ring.

Give each printed piece its own tracking number. Every call to it is recorded and counted toward that piece's leads and revenue, so a truck wrap, a yard sign and a direct mail drop can be compared on what they actually brought in.

How it works

  1. 01/04

    Pick the piece

Add a yard sign, wrap, card or mailer and choose its category.

  2. 02/04

    Get its number

Gozango assigns a tracking number that rings your normal line. Print it on the piece.

  3. 03/04

    Every call counts

Calls to that number are recorded and counted toward the piece's leads and revenue.

  4. 04/04

    Compare

Line the pieces up side by side and see which ones pay for themselves.

What our offline marketing tracking does

Everything Offline Source Tracking handles — built in, not bolted on.

  • A tracking number per printed piece: yard signs, vehicle wraps, business cards, direct mail, print ads, billboards, flyers and brochures
  • Every call recorded and logged to the lead
  • Leads and revenue counted for each piece
  • Cost per lead, tracked against what the piece cost
  • Compare pieces side by side, or the same piece across neighborhoods and cities
  • Numbers already on your trucks and signs can usually be moved over from your current provider
  • Runs on the same numbers as Call Tracking
  • Offline sources reported next to your ads and listings

What changes with offline marketing tracking

What life looks like before and after.

  • Before

You paid for the wrap and hope it's working.

    After

The wrap's own number shows its leads and revenue.

  • Before

Every printed piece lists the same office number.

    After

Each piece has its own number, and every call is counted to it.

  • Before

Next year's print budget is a guess.

    After

Compare pieces side by side and reorder the ones that pay.

What if someone sees my truck and searches for me instead of calling?

That happens, and a tracking number won't catch it. Printed pieces build brand awareness too, so someone may see your truck, search your name and call the number on your Google profile instead. Tracking numbers count the calls that come straight from the piece, which is usually enough to compare one sign or wrap against another. Ask new callers how they heard about you to fill in the rest. Offline source tracking is included from the Grow plan.

When contractors use offline marketing tracking

How operators put this to work.

  • Vehicles

Is the truck wrap paying off?

The wrap's number shows how many leads and how much revenue it has brought in, next to what the wrap cost.

  • Signs

    Yard signs by neighborhood

Give the signs in each neighborhood their own number and see which streets bring in calls.

  • New business

Get the number before you print

Set up tracking numbers before the first business cards and yard signs are ordered, and never put a personal cell on a truck.

  • Switching

Keep the numbers you already use

Numbers already on your trucks and signs can usually be moved over, so nothing has to be reprinted.

Your yard signs, wraps and mailers get the same tracking your ads do.
